I would like for you to meet Pudgy the Pooper but you can't

I got my new cat today.

He seems to be very sweet.

At least he was until I opened the door to his cage

Now he is hiding under the bed.

He was talking to me earlier though

Hopefully I will see him tomorrow

He has everything he needs in the room with him

Before long maybe he will need me too.

Pudgy is around 5 years old.

He is very fat and lazy and loving

He belonged to my nephew's girlfriend's grandmother.

She went into a nursing home last week.

I think Pudgy and I will be perfect for each other.

Why "Pudgy the Pooper"?

The first time Hali took him to the vet

She said he pooped all the way there

and all the way back

hahahhaha - poor Pudgy

I've seen animals poop because they were nervous

He must have been terrified.

Cats do have a tendency to freak out in new surroundings, don’t they? can’t wait to meet him.

Give him a few days to get to know his new territory.

When I moved to a new home with a cat several years back, unfortunately there was a place where he could get into the walls. He did and he was in the walls for about 4-5 days.

We had that happen with a litter of kittens when I was a kid. She had them in the workshop and they disappeared when they were about 2 weeks old. 10 days later we came home and half were on the roof and the other half were in the attic.

So nice to give a home to a new four legged friend. That is, when he decides to show hiself! smiles
